<p><strong>Salary: An all inclusive remuneration package of R 434,505 per annum (including choice of basic salary [between 70% and 75% of package], the State’s contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund [13% of basic salary] and a flexible portion). The flexible portion of the package can be structured according to the Middle Management Service guidelines.</strong></p><p><strong>Chief Directorate: Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Services. Pretoria.</strong></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS: </strong>●A three-year Bachelor’s degree or National diploma or equivalent NQF 6 Certificate in Social Sciences or a Security related field ●SSA Vetting/Security Advisors course ●At least three (3) years security, investigation, supervisory and managerial experience at the level of Assistant Director (or equivalent level) ●Knowledge of SSA environment will be an advantage ●Knowledge of the National Vetting Policy Guidelines, Minimum Information Security Standards (MISS) and ideally formal training in the practice and principles on the execution of vetting fieldwork and general security screening ●Ability to work independently and under pressure ●Good communication skills (written and verbal) ●Good interpersonal relations ●Goal orientated person with strong leadership and conflict management skills ●Computer literacy (MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, etc.) ●Valid driver’s licence.</p><p><strong>DUTIES: </strong>●Develop and implement an information security classification system within the Department ●Develop and implement an information security strategy as well as security risk management programmes within the Department ●Interact with security-related and relevant authorities ●Conduct information security awareness programmes within the Department ●Advise on security around the core business of the Department.</p><p><strong>NOTE: </strong><strong>Please note that permanent appointment is subject to positive security clearance at level of top secret.</strong></p><p><strong>ENQUIRIES: </strong>Mr J.T.
